Hamina Onsite is a subscription service from Hamina Wireless that enables Wi-Fi site surveys and troubleshooting with the Hamina Onsite app.
The Oscium Nomad is a specialized Wi-Fi measurement device by our friends at Oscium, who have been making Wi-Fi test and measurement equipment for like, forever.
Hamina Onsite works on iPhone, iPad and Apple Silicon MacBooks.
The Oscium Nomad includes a standard USB-C cable (a nice braided one) that you can use to directly connect it to your USB-C iPhone or iPad.
To connect the Oscium Nomad to an iPhone or iPad with a Lightning port, you'll need to separately purchase an Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter. If you have a device with USB-C (such as iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPad Pro, iPad Air, or iPad mini), then you don't need an adapter.
Nope! Hamina Onsite works great in offline mode, so you can survey if there's no cellular service or Wi-Fi (which is probably why you're surveying).
Nah! If all you need to do is site surveys and a bit of analysis, all you need is a Hamina Onsite subscription.
Oscium provides a 1-year warranty for the Oscium Nomad.
Not right now, they are currently sold as a bundle.
If you just want to do survey analysis and reporting, all you need is a Hamina Network Planner or Planner Plus subscription. You only need Hamina Onsite if you're performing surveys and live troubleshooting.
